I am a graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, with B.Tech. Degree 
in Mechanical Engineering (Major), and Industrial Management and Engineering (Minor), 
gained in May, 1999. I am presently looking for a Software job, preferably in the

IBM Global Services India Pvt. Ltd., as a System Software Engineer, for the last

1) Distributed Resource Monitor (DRM)
  Client : IBM Internal
  Environment : AIX, LINUX
  Duration : 3 months (15th Oct, 1999 - 24th Dec, 1999)
  Role / Size : Team Member / 9 Members
  Description : Developing a utility on AIX to monitor various system parameters, like 
    CPU, Real Memory, Virtual Memory and Disk usage, of a remote host over a network, and 
    then using triggers to control them. It has a client - server model, using SunRPC, to 
    communicate with the remote machine. It also has a very powerful GUI, using Xwindows 
    & Motif, to display the results. This utility is also ported on LINUX, and in future 
    to be ported on Sun, SGI and NT also.
2) Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST)
  Client : Oasis SiliconSystems AG, Germany
  Environment : WindowsNT
  Duration : Present Project (24th Dec, 1999 - till date)
  Role / Size : Team Member / 5 Members
  Description : Developing (designing, coding & testing) a device driver for MOST PCI 
    CARD on WindowsNT platform, so that it can support synchronous and asynchronous data 
    transfer on the MOST optical fiber ring network.

  i. Introductory session in C, C++, Java, RDBMS.
  ii. Introduction to Intel Architecture, different Filesystems.
